the FYNARTS GALLERY

The FynArts Gallery was launched in 2018 to serve as both an art gallery and the FynArts office.

The gallery is unique in Hermanus, as exhibitions are changed every four to five weeks and a wide range of artists across many art disciplines are invited. Small group exhibitions are mostly presented, with the occasional larger group or solo show.  A special exhibition is installed every year during the FynArts Festival – entry to this is free.

For the 2026 Hermanus FynArts Festival an exhibition curated by Strauss & Co will celebrate the art of the area. Titled “Time and Tide: Expressions of Hermanus and the Coastal Overberg” this is an exhibition not to be missed.
