Don’t miss it: 10 – 19 June 2016

17 November, 2015

The 2016 festival programme is quickly filling up with a wide variety of fine visual artists, musicians, speakers and presenters of demonstrations and workshops. Expect a festival offering visual, intellectual and creative stimulation that will appeal to young and old whether singles, couples, groups or families.

Amongst the line-up of new faces to be announced during this month, there will be a few familiar ones; such as orchestra and choir conductor Richard Cock, novelist Christopher Hope, Fine Music Radio personality, Rodney Trudgeon, Chef and Judge for the World Association of Chefs Societies, Garth Stroebel and a few others.

The Festival Artist for 2016 will be announced shortly as will the title of his exhibition.

The Sculpture on the Cliffs exhibition will be going into its third year and will be opened on Saturday 11 June 2016. We are thrilled that four top South African sculptors have already confirmed their participation in the exhibition: Guy du Toit, Gordon Froud, Jaco Sieberhagen and Strijdom van der Merwe. The names of the additional four sculptors will be announced shortly.

In the weeks to come, we will introduce you to the participants and events that will make up the festival programme for the fourth FynArts celebration of arts.
