Jenna O’Neill

Violinist

Jenna O’Neill graduated in December 2016 from Stellenbosch University with BMus (cum laude) in Violin Performance as her specialisation and graduated in March 2019 with her MMus in Chamber Music Performance. While doing her BMus, Jenna led the second violins in the University of Stellenbosch Symphony Orchestra. She also played with Stellenbosch Camerata and several ad hoc orchestras. Her Master’s thesis was titled ‘A study of performance-related injuries among BMus violin students in South Africa’.

Jenna had master classes with several renowned violinists, including Priya Mitchell, Annette-Barbara Vogel and Pauline Nobes. Pursuing her love for mathematics, she obtained a degree in Computer Science cum laude in 2022.
