Anton Odendal

Anton formed BirdLife Overberg and served on the Council of BirdLife South Africa. He has developed bird identification and conservation courses presented throughout South Africa as well as online, and is a host lecturer for the ‘Share Screen Africa’ campaign.

He developed ‘birdfinder’ web pages for five local municipalities to market the Western Cape as a top birding destination. He writes a column for Landbouweekblad and previously for SA Country Life. Anton manages the CleanMarine campaign to protect birds along the Overstrand shoreline.
